Synopsis
"La grieta" tells of two neighbours' struggle to keep their homes in a building with official protection in Villaverde, a working-class area of Madrid. In 2003, vulture funds landed in Spain, attracted by the property bargains on offer from local authorities. La grieta reveals the complex realities faced by these families and their sense of identity and belonging to a community.
