Synopsis

A journey through Madrid's Malasaña neighbourhood in the form of thirty interviews asking local residents, traders and regular visitors about why they love Malasaña. Viewers discover the neighbourhood as it is today, and also some of the problems it currently faces, such as the issue of gentrification. We also explore its history and discover its origins, while also looking back at more recent events such as when it was the cradle of the movida madrileña scene in the 1980s.
