Sinopsis
After the military coup, the Francoist regime took advantage of its victory to cruelly and savagely punish the republican population. More than 250,000 Spaniards were locked up in concentration camps and jails. The repression against women was even harsher, with rapes, degrading humiliations and head-shaving punishments. Many of these women wrote letters to their families or friends before they died or during their incarceration. This documentary recovers their letters and makes them known to the world so that their names are not erased from history.
